A Personal Assistant is required for a man and woman residing in the HU5 area of Hull. Both the man and woman are blind and have two guide dogs.
You will assist and guide the couple either separately or together with shopping, accessing social, recreational and educational activities, and attending appointments. The role also includes assistance with preparing and cooking meals, assistance with general housework and laundry and accompanying me on days out.
The role is varied an interesting, presenting you with the opportunity to develop skills in working with people with no sight
Formal qualifications and not required, however, the ideal PA will be a good time keeper, be flexible, have common sense and a sense of humour and enjoy walking and physical activities. Car owner/driver preferred.
