Further Information: A friendly and patient PA is required to support a 65 year old lady living with Motor Neuron Disease in her own home in the HU9 area. The lady has a strong desire to live independently in her own home for as long as she is able to.
The lady is able to express her owns needs and wishes and you will be following her direction with additional support and direction from her sister. You will need to be able to support the lady maintain all aspects of her daily living such as meal preparation, support with medication, cleaning, laundry and shopping. There may be some requirement to assist the lady accessing the local community. There will be personal care involved, assisting with showering and dressing so patience, kindness and sensitivity is a must.
Important Information: There is a genuine occupational requirement for a FEMALE worker, and therefore only applications from FEMALES will be considered*. *Exempt under the Equality Act 2010.
