Further information: A Female Personal Assistant is required to support a Dad with caring for his disabled daughter. She is 18 years old and has both a physical and learning disability. She is a very happy and engaging child who loves the company of others.

They are looking for a PA whose duties would include, administering medication orally, all personal care, washing dressing for school and also washing dressing for bed, preparing food and feeding.

They would prefer a PA with experience working with children with epilepsy and also be trained in resuscitation. They would also prefer a PA who has a full driving license so Annie can be taken out in her car during school holidays. Annie also has the use of a wheelchair as she does not walk and is non-verbal. Occasional evening work would also be required to allow her Dad some respite.

You will be required to undertake personal care tasks and have a flexible approach as to the work you are involved in.

Applicants will be able to demonstrate warmth, compassion and unconditional positive regard for the disabled people. The successful applicant will be active, positive, confident and extremely supportive.
