Location: HU9 area of Hull
Rate of pay: £8.91 per hour
Hours: 6 per week
Days: Saturdays 10 am – 4pm
Further information: A friendly, sociable Personal Assistant is required to support a young woman with autism living in the HU9 area of the city.
The appointed PA will be a companion and facilitator, supporting the young woman to access community activities, such as ten pin bowling, going to the cinema or going for a coffee, via public transport. This support will enable her to become more independent and prevent isolation. The appointed PA should be reliable, respectful and empathetic. You should have good communication and time management skills. Experience of supporting young people who are autistic would also be an advantage
