An enthusiastic and reliable part time female Personal Assistant is required to support a chatty, friendly and warm 19 year old lady living with Cerebral Palsy and a hearing impairment in the HU6 area of the city.
The young lady would a like a PA to help her access the activities in the community she enjoys. She enjoys going to the cinema, swimming and enjoys walks in the park. She is able to walk short distances and would like the PA to support her maintain and improve her mobility. She does require supervision when walking as she can easily fall. Whilst at home she likes crafting and art activities as well as writing. She is independent and can clearly express her owns needs and wishes. She would like to develop her confidence outside of the home and would love to be able to attend the Red Disco once a month and mix with her peers.
You will be a good communicator and demonstrate empathy and respect. Experience is not essential as training will be given.
