Further Information: 

A Personal Assistant is required for young lady aged 10 in the HU9 Area of the city. This young lady has Rett syndrome and has physical and mental disability. She requires support with all aspects of her day-to-day life. She has PEG system, and is nonverbal. She communicates via eye gaze. She likes to go for walks in her wheelchair/ likes swimming and pampering sessions including getting her nails done. She has sensory needs and enjoys sensory play. The PA required will need to be kind and compassionate and able to follow the direction of this lady’s mum.  The PA will be required to support within and outside the family home providing one to one care including personal care.  Support will need to be given to assist in dressing/bathing and feeding support.  Her needs may vary from day to day and the PA tasks may reflect this. The PA could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required. The successful candidate will be friendly, trustworthy and be willing to build a relationship built on trust and respect.All training and guidance will be provided by the family. 

Holiday/sickness cover shifts available/short notice cover.
