Further Information:

An 8 year old girl living in the HU8 area of the city would like a caring and confident Personal Assistant to help her access activities within the community. The young girl has Autism Spectrum Disorder and is partially sighted, she is able to walk short distances but makes use of a wheelchair for longer distances.

She loves going to the parks to play on the equipment and when the weather is poorer going to the trampoline parks or playing Minecraft. However, her biggest passion is bowling, it is one of her favourite pass times and would for a PA to enjoy these activities with her.

You will work alongside her family to understand her needs and you would need have the ability to remain calm and be flexible as her behaviour can be challenging. There will be some personal care involved so kindness and sensitivity is a must.
