A 25 -year-old male is looking for a Personal Assistant for 5 hours per week (with a view to increase). He needs a PA to help him get out into the community and develop his interests. He likes the buses and visiting the station to see the trains, he also enjoys visits to the museums. He needs encouragement to walk and increase his activity levels. The PA would need to work with his mum to structure activities to keep him interested and engaged. The young man has ASD and is able to communicate well, however his impairment affects his ability to interact with others, the PA will need the take time to build his trust and establish a positive working relationship.
