CX823 PA for a boy whose joy in life is Green Lantern, collecting comics and memorabilia 4 hrs pw HU3

Job Category: Childrens
Job Location: HU3

PA wanted for a 16year old boy.  His joy in life is the superhero Green Lantern, and he loves collecting comics and memorabilia and building his collection!  He is the most amazing child who is passionate about all things Green Lantern and just needs someone to help him access the community safely.

He would like to be able to have some time away from being supervised by mum and family and would like to spend time at comic stores and exploring things like that. He’d like to go to the cinema if something was out that he enjoys.  All of this he loves to do with a nice chocolate milkshake!  His family feel it would greatly benefit him being able to feel like he had this freedom whilst also having the appropriate care that he desperately needs to be able to access this.

He needs a PA whose interests are similar to his.

He is unable to leave the house independently as he has limited safety awareness and will need help with cues to cross the road safely etc.  He needs to be constantly monitored to keep him safe.

He struggles with public transport so the family would prefer a car driver.  He requires guidance to ensure he is appropriately dressed for the weather, such as when to take his coat off when it’s too hot and wearing his coat if it’s raining.  He has multiple diagnoses and hears voices so sometimes needs to leave public spaces as his behaviours may attract negative attention.  The families main concern is that the PA can keep him safe.

Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory checking report from the Disclosure and Barring Service, the cost of which will be met by the local authority/employer
