Are you caring, energetic and passionate about making a real difference to a child’s life?
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Personal Assistant to support a wonderful autistic boy with a passion for nature and the outdoors. This rewarding role involves helping him enjoy the activities he loves while building his confidence and independence in the community.

He really enjoys been in water, therefore the PA would be expected to take him swimming.

This young boy can walk unaided but has no sense of danger, extra attention must be given in outdoor spaces.

He enjoys:
🌳 Exploring the outdoors and going for walks
🏊 Swimming
🛝 Trips to the park

The successful Personal Assistant will support him with accessing community activities planned by his family, encouraging engagement, play and enjoyment in a safe and positive environment.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is patient, kind, enthusiastic and enjoys working with children with additional needs. Experience with autism and alternative communication tools (photos/pictures) or SEND is desired but, above all, we’re looking for someone with the right attitude and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.

Job Details
📍 Location: HU3
💷 Pay: £12.71 per hour
🕒 Hours: 6 hours per week (School holidays only)

Working days and times to be negotiated with the employer.
