CASE REF CX887 Personal Assistant to support 12-year-old girl 5 hours per week, HU5 area.

Job Category: Childrens
Job Location: HU5

A PA is needed for a 12-year-old girl who has a diagnosis of ADHD, she needs support with organisation, maintaining routine and self-care due to her neurodiversity.

She is a typical 12-year-old girl. She likes gaming, K-pop, swimming, cooking and playing her keyboard. She is a real animal lover and loves cats especially.

She has a good sense of humour and is very self-aware of her struggles

I am looking for a PA mainly to support with morning routine. Ideally 4-5 days a week term time in a morning before school. Maybe 7-8am, we can be a bit flexible around this.

She does not need help with personal care, barring a button here and there and maybe some help to do her hair.

she needs prompts and encouragement to organise herself and get herself ready in a morning. Because of her ADHD she is very distractible and it makes it very difficult to keep her on track

When not term time, it would be good for the PA to support with social activities we can be flexible when this is done.

ideally, we want someone who is reliable, kind, fun and can make mornings less of a chore, you must be non-judgemental, and who can take control of a situation, someone who can support her with her independence and to look after her self-care more effectively.

Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory checking report from the Disclosure and Barring Service, the cost of which will be met by the local authority/employer
