CX616 PA for a friendly, sociable, lovable young man who likes being active & having fun 20hrs pw HU6 area

A friendly, sociable and a lovable young man who enjoys being active and having fun is looking for a PA for 20hours per week school term and 30 hours per week in the 13 weeks school holidays.

He likes bowling, swimming, and loves playing football. He loves playing in the arcades. He also loves playing with balloons.

He wants a Personal Assistant to support him in living as independently as possible, while having company and help to join in activities he enjoys. He’d like the PA to help him get out and about, access his community, pursue his hobbies, and have someone reliable to assist with daily tasks so he can feel confident and supported.

The PA will help with practical tasks, accompany him to appointments, go out for walks, trips, or activities, join in his hobbies, help him plan his day, and be a friendly, respectful support. The role focuses on enabling him to make choices and take part in things he enjoys.

He does require regular support with personal care, including washing, dressing, and help with toileting as he is doubly incontinent and this all needs to be carried out with dignity and respect.

Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory checking report from the Disclosure and Barring Service, the cost of which will be met by the local authority.
