AX2089 A team of PA’s needed to support a man returning home after a motorcycle accident

A family in the HU7 area looking for a team Personal Assistants to support a 27-year male. He was involved in a motorcycle accident 8 months ago and now wants to return home to continue his rehabilitation.

There are a total of 70hrs per week available with various shifts and hours. Please apply and let us know which shifts you are interested in.

  • 5 hours in a morning x1 carer to include PEG feeds and normal feeds, catheter care, toileting/incontinence cares, medication and personal cares.
  • 5 hours for lunch x1 carer to support meals and PEG Feeds, catheter care, toileting/incontinence cares and medication.
  • 5 hours for tea x1 carer to support meals and PEG Feeds, catheter care, toileting/incontinence cares and medication.
  • 5 hours x1carer Evening call to support with bed, dressing, toileting, catheter care, medication and dressing.
  • 3 hours a day for socialising, community/family activities and appointments.

He wants a team of PA who can support his continued rehabilitation, he has made great progress in the hospital and now wants to continue his rehab in his home environment surrounded by his family.

The PA’s will need to be patient and encourage his progress around Speech and Language, Mobility and Reading, his goal is to get back to being an active family man. The PA’s will be working in his home alongside his family.
